An Open Door and An Open Heart

I hope this visit to our website entices you to visit our campus. We are two schools on one iconic campus in Grand Coteau. Founded in 1821, we are the oldest continually operating Sacred Heart School in the world. We have been educators of excellence for all these years and pride ourselves on empowering women and men to be successful leaders in the world today. Ours is a legacy of authentic scholarship, deep learning, active engagement with the community and an entrepreneurial spirit that empowers much good in the world. In a word: excellence in education.

 

These 250 acres are holy ground. We have been steeped in the Catholic faith and tradition since the town’s inception. We proudly carry on that tradition, offering a world-view based on the Scriptures and the noble Tradition of the Church.

Send your child to the Academy of the Sacred Heart and she will become an integral thread in our woven history of 200 years of Sacred Heart education.  She will stand on the shoulders of generations of Sacred Heart alumnae who have gone before her, and we will all support and cherish her as she grows into a woman of strength and purpose.
